I admit I was skeptical about this place. Indian/Italian sounds like a bizarre mix of cultures to me so I was not sure what to expect.
The prices are really good so I decided to try two things because I was skeptical and wanted to get a good idea of what this place was really about. Plus, $28 for two meals is about the price of one meal at most places.
I tried the penne salmon and the cannelloni.
The salmon pasta was good although I personally would have liked a little more salt (just my preference). The pieces of salmon in the pasta were melt in the mouth, really perfectly cooked. The sauce was delicious and creamy.
The cannelloni was okay. I would have preferred more sauce. There was barely any pomodoro sauce for the cannelloni to swim in. I am a big lover of sauce so it's not unusual for me to want more sauce but in this case, I think more sauce would have made the pasta a little less dry/crispy. Perhaps it just needed a little less time in the oven also? The crispiness/dryness was only on the top of the cannelloni though. The filling was good, although the flavour of pumpkin was overpowering of the other flavours.
I will definitely be back to try more things. Perhaps some Indian next time so I can see if they do Indian as well as...

Read moreI started ordering food from Spazio during the recent lock down. Being a small take away I was not expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. The portions were big, a $16 spag bol, made a good dinner and the left overs were enough for lunch(with a slice of bread :-)) next day. I absolutely love the little variations that the chef make to the classical Italian meals.
My fav so far : Spag Bol, Beef Cutlet.
