We have enjoyed numerous excellent events at the Blue Train.

Who would have thought a poetry night could be such brilliant fun? The mid-winter Christmas was an absolute hoot, with the most amazing Christmas pudding I have ever eaten. His Pie & Mash with 'secret sauce' was superb.

Not only is Chris an amazingly talented chef (I'm convinced there is nothing he cannot cook) but he also has a way of coming up with unique, fun ideas. We have been going back for more over the past few years and not once been disappointed.

The Blue Train is one of a kind, an experience to be experienced. The setting is professional, friendly and fun, and the food - Amazing.

Warm, Welcoming, and Well Worth Booking

The Blue Train in Paraparaumu is a lovely spot with a great atmosphere. The lighting creates a warm, inviting vibe, and the music adds just the right touch to the magic of the carriage.

One of the highlights is the onsite chef – the meals are fresh, well-cooked, and genuinely tasty. It’s clear some real care goes into the food, which adds to the overall experience.

Went down to meet Chris to finalize details for an event I'm planning in the near future. I was pleasantly surprised by how great the decor of the carriages were. Thought they would be a little crowded but that is not the case, surprisingly there is plenty of room. The Wife and I had his Smoko On The Loco Morning Tea and we were most impressed. Enjoyed Chris's friendly banter and the service was second to none. Nice atmosphere too. If you want to go somewhere a little different, you really can't do better than The Blue Train.
