CafĂ© Palms is an absolute hidden treasure in KÄpiti. Theyâre the perfect example of a good old school local cafe. No flashy names, no over-the-top decor. Just great food, great coffee, and even better people. They do the basics, and they do them well, every time, and at fair prices.
Itâs a family-run spot with the friendliest smiles. Every morning as I walk past to the gym, they give me a wave, and when Iâm on a gym challenge, theyâve gone out of their way to create keto-friendly meals just for me. Theyâve even delivered my coffee and food to me while I was getting my hair done across the carpark. Thatâs service you donât see anymore.
In a time when local businesses are really feeling the pinch, this cafe continues to show why theyâre a community favourite. The quality, price, and down-to-earth service are unmatched. Even their regulars will give you a smile and a wave.

Todays kai and kÄwhe was enjoyed at #cafepalms
Lovely Cafe situated at Kapiti Lights. A number of locals were already there, enjoying their kÄwhe and light banter while reading the morning paper.
Ka pai menu, plenty of seating in and out, lovely atmosphere. Service was excellent, Kai was delicious, kÄwhe was ka pai and the smoothie tasty.
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my breakfast experience.
