I had visited their restaurant especially for so called. âmomos ââby nepalese cuisine but unfortunately they couldnât meet their standards and dough was too soggy looks like overcooked dumplings in a steamer and quantity is only 4 pcs which is not an average momos wuantity wherever you get it from nz and especially on this huge price đ then second theyâd served us a 30 ml shot which means a single shot and when we asked the server even doesnât know what it means well cheers on that too .. then the front person came and saying that heâd served me 60 ml which is a double shot and they gave me an invoice where it clearly states âsingle shot âand it doesnât even taste like a double shot . After asking for a sesame seed chutney which wasnât given with meal at the time instead they served a hot sauce mixed with a sweet chilli ⌠then after asking they just gave us minced chillies with toasted sesame which means they donât have it because they donât know how to make it well at least letâs be fair what youâd given in your menu description iâm here writing this feedback which i shouldnât do but lets think of the persons who visiting this kitchen again and might they have same issue hope it helps and server doesnât know whatâs in the menu and even after thorough reading the menu such kind of hospoâs better to be not serving again !!!!! Better to be a good samaritan first. There was no apologies even tho i shared the feedback with the person idk he is the owner or whatsoever , his rudeness shows the taste of meals and lies...
Read moreHave to share our latest experience of ordering food for pickup from Himalayan Kitchen this evening. Placed order at 5:35pm, while we were on the train from Wellington, with a requested pickup of 6:30pm. Get a response a couple minutes later, that food would be ready for pickup at 6:01pm.
That is not 6:30pm. We're on a train - we cannot travel any faster.
The responses are automated, so you cannot reply either by SMS or email.
Your only option is to phone. The train goes through a long tunnel then through areas with questionable cell coverage.
End result - food is picked up at 6:35pm. Food is not warm as it was prepared for 6:01pm and we could not get through while we were on the train, to ask the kitchen to correct their mistake. I have the receipt. The receipt clearly states "Requested for 6:30pm". I did ask the gentleman when picking up the food - was this cooked for 6:30pm? He pointed to that line saying 'requested for: 6:30pm'. Never mind that the big line at the top of the receipt was 'Accepted for: 6:01pm"
Folks, we normally love your food, but this was...
Read moreDonât want to give any star..Extremely bad and horrible experience with Himalayan Kitchen.. I had made 2 seperate phone order, one was for me and other was for my friend. We both paid our meals amount separately still he was putting our meals in a same small bag (just to save their bags). When we told to their chef, please pack it separately, we made seperate payments he made weird and bad face. Moreover, he handed over wrong curries to both of us and When I went back to his restaurant, they did not take any kind of initiative to sort out the matter and he made my order completely wrong. ( I ordered chilli panner dry but they made chilli panner with gravy). When I told him my order is wrong, He offered, we can remake your curry again on tomorrow and you donât need to pay. I accepted this thing, but when I rang them back on next day at 2pm, he refused to make that curry and said our restaurant is closed now. I checked their timings on google it was clearly mentioned their restaurant is close at 2:30pm. Overall, very disappoint with...
