Allely Estate — Attraction in Rodney

Our wedding was great, food was amazing and venue is absolutely beautiful.

However there were a few downsides to Allely which we experienced leading up to the wedding and on the wedding day.

Communication

When we initially booked in we had a coordinator who was quite prompt with responding to emails and letting me know how things worked. Unfortunately this coordinator left and a lot of the information about my wedding was not passed on to the next coordinator. I was dealing with multiple people from Allely and didn't realise that what I was communicating did not flow through all staff. I explicitly stated that our event will finish at 11pm but on the night of the wedding the bar closed at 9:30pm and we were instructed to leave by 10pm. This left me quite upset on the night as I was told that they couldn't do anything about it and to contact the owner for a refund of the extra hour I had already paid for.

Coordinator offered

The coordinator helping us was lovely, but obviously very new. We agreed via email that we would meet up at the venue the evening before the wedding so I could drop off some decor items. But when I arrived she was no where to be found I called multiple times and no answer. I had to contact the owner so I could get access to the venue.

Also on the day of our rehearsal she was late keeping me and my bridal party waiting outside of the venue as we didn't have access

Cleanliness of venue

When I first viewed the venue it was in pristine state, lawns mowed and the marquee was very clean. On the day of my wedding, the grass was quite long, there was leaves all inside the marquee and the window sills were dirty. Its a shame that the we paid a lot money for a very mediocre service.

First thing first, we will forever be grateful for Athina and the Allely Estate team. From the moment we met, we knew this team would be our dream team to run our wedding and ensure everything goes to plan.

We had our day on 23rd February 2020, I was totally stress free on the day! Athina and her team ensured everything was in place and on time, the staff ensured everyone was looked after and all our guests had a great time. We had so many compliments regarding the food prepared on the day – bless the hands that prepared our meals and so many compliments how beautiful the venue is and how friendly the staff are. The guests have been talking about how delicious the food was on our wedding day, we had not a single complaint. The venue, the gardens, the décor, the food and the staff and the service – absolutely amazing.

We would like to take this time to give the biggest thank you to Athina & The Allely Estate team for looking after us over the last 12 months and our guests. You all have been truly amazing and our day would not have been a success without you all. Athina, you were the backbone and the fort holding this wedding together and we will forever hold you dearly close to our hearts. She was and still is absolutely amazing. Parting ways with you has been the absolute hardest but thank you so much for coming on this journey with us. There are not enough thank you’s in this world to tell you how grateful we are for you all. Athina and team, we wish you guys all the best!

The most amazing team at Allely Estate. I cannot thank Athina enough for bringing my special day to life. She was an angel through some trying times. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I planned my wedding in ONE MONTH. With being in a crunch for time and having a range of questions and requests, Athina really catered to everything I wanted. We didn't have the biggest of budgets but working as a team we made do with what we had! I've seen this place done up with all the extra frills but, even simply decorated with greenery it was still so beautiful. This place will hold such a special place in my heart as this was where my mum shared her last bout of energy and walked me down the aisle. My mum adored Athina and said she was an angel sent to us at the perfect time. I asked Athina if I could shave our heads for cancer here and she supported us the whole way. She took care of my mum when she was starting to feel weak throughout the night and made herself fit right with our family. Everything fell into place when I met Athina. I am so overjoyed to have been married here. The whole process was stress free and I cannot recommend them enough. Love love love...
