Puhoi Lookout Track — Attraction in Rodney

Currently closed but only at one end, so we did the full circuit and only realized when we were done. There is one minor slip. There is also some logging activity near the top but this is not encroaching on the track at all. We took the mountain buggy up but I would not describe the full loop as buggy friendly. You can manage if you go clockwise to the lookout and then back the way you came. Otherwise, there are 100 or so stairs to contend with. Overall, an excellent family walk and great way to break up...

Really cool track, part of Te Araroa. Getting to the lookout takes less than 10 mins and you get cool views of Puhoi, but I recommend walking further. You walk through a lot of farmland, which then turns into bush, which then leads into a pine forest - all the while...

Decent track, Expect for the storm damaged parts and the majority of the track being closed...
