Whitehaven Wines Cellar Door and Tasting Room — Attraction in South Island

We had a fabulous time at Whitehaven! We were the only couple there when we arrived and it felt like we got the royal treatment! We got one flight each, and all 3 staff members made sure we were taken care of, taught us about where each grape was grown, the history of the winery, and all about their sustainability efforts. I had already loved the Sauv Blanc, as it is widely available in the US, but I really fell in love with their whole selection while we were there! Fantastic customer service, the wine tasting was excellent so sorry i did not get the ladies namr, but we all bought wine at a reasonable price and the tasting was very informative.. Great experience tasting at Whitehaven. Surroundings were beautiful. Kaz was friendly, knowledgeable and even sneaked us an extra wine to taste - thinking (correctly) that some of our pre- conceived tastes should be challenged.
