We visited Parrs Park and Playground today. Day overcast with a slight breeze and felt quite exposed. Flat tracks around the park - which is great for little tots and bikes (but also had an array of walkers/runners and dogs). Playground itself felt to cater for older kids. It had a water play area as well as sand. The main climbing area went high and had two slides - neither of which would be suitable for a pre-school age kid. A few other activity areas, but less inviting than other playgrounds...

Great fun lots to do, nice water 💦 features for the kids to play with - different manually activated/controlled devices to make the water flow from one side of the park to the other - helps build team work as you see the water flow with help from 4+ people.

Nice talk climbing structure (can’t climb outside only inside) with 2 different slides coming off.

Cool swings that can go in circles too - can’t fit 4 kids in easy - just watch that others don’t walk into the swing in motion can wipe...
