I attended Bilates classes at the beginning of this year and since then i have enjoyed every moment since i have started. From attending classes at Blockhouse Bay on the weekends and learning about the basic Pilates exercises i found it to be a rewarding experience at the end of class. It has challenged me physically, mentally and emotionally while it works with whole body workout.
I have just recently completed with my sister in doing a 12 week program with one to one session with Bansri. Bansri made these one to one session classes every week that helped me develop form, posture, and focus on breathing. Every week was different as we gradually had new different formations or exercises that challenged us with other modified movements that made the class more enjoyably. Bansri is very proactive, encouraging, and inspiring as we are doing the classes as she walks step by step in how to do the exercises and participates with us Highly recommend anyone wanting to do Pilates to join up with Bilates, 100% you wont regret and will see the difference. Bansri is able to see and can discuss with you your strength and weaknesses and from there she will develop a plan that works well for you!! This is perfect for people like me who don't do much exercises and would like to do some form just to keep the body and mind active for even 30-45 minutes a week. During the current pandemic and lock down in Auckland, everyday zoom sessions with a 1 week pass for 1 hour classes has been very rewarding and beneficial in keeping fit, active and motivated with different sessions (low intensity, high intensity, cardio workouts.. etc.) everyday. Finished a 12 week program!! I have been attending Bilates since the beginning of this year and then decided to do private sessions with my sister and did a 12 week program. It physically pushed/challenged me as every week was different but after every class it felt good not just physically but also mentally!! It was so worth it at the end and was an incredible experience and I definitely will be signing up again for private sessions! She is an INCREDIBLE instructor, she really shows the DEDICATION and PASSION and pushes individuals to the limit! I can see the difference as I have better posture, balance and have gained strength compared to day 1. I have also been attending her weekly sessions as they also have different intensities and challenge different parts of the body. I would HIGHLY recommend Bilates whether it be private sessions or group sessions for anyone as she offers for all (beginners, intermediate and advanced)!!!
Bansri is an AMAZING instructor, she is KIND, CARING, PASSIONATE and DEDICATED in what she does which makes the experience even more better by having an instructor love...

I have always been keen to try Pilates but have found studios around Auckland a bit intimidating as someone going in as a beginner. Bansri made me feel comfortable from the get go, listened to my fitness goals and concerns and tailors every class to meet them! She is also an extremely kind and friendly person.
