Miss Bon Bon — Attraction in Whau

I’m terribly let down by this store. I had emailed Becky asking for a cake topper to be custom made for my daugter’s 3rd birthday party a month in advance. Her response was that she could not do it at all as she would be away at that time. I then ordered the cake from another store who referred me back to her saying that the topper could be made well in advance of the party. I then called Becky back to ask if she could do it and the response I got was - you should have called me earlier this week or even yesterday and I could have made it but since you called me today I can’t. I then explained that I had emailed weeks earlier with this request. She continued to insist that it was my “fault” for not calling earlier, and then proceeded to hang up on me! I was certainly not expecting that. There were no raised voices or foul words exchanged (to be clear she was just rude and not apologetic in the slightest) but what shocked me was her hanging up and insisting that I take the blame for her non-fulfilment of the order. Such a shame that I came away with a totally different experience to what I expected. I will never shop here again not recommend anyone to go here. I will also be letting my cake shop know (and they are amazing!) to not recommend...

Not a great experience. I emailed her back in November for a quote on the mermade cake topper from the website, with a image of the cake I have ordered elsewhere to try to match the colours for my 4yolds b day cake. She responded with what size was after and a few other questions. I was out in Henderson a few days later and thought I would pop in and have look plus talk to her about it as she had not responded to my second email. She was stropy, rude and didn't listen, she told me she didn't have time to make one as she was far to busy with Xmas orders. I really wish she has told me this in my first email to save the drive from the other side of Auckland. She also kept telling me she didn't make cakes after I had told her multiple time I had the cake sorted. I ended up buying a box of pre made decorations, got home to find some of them were broken. Not to much of a big deal, it just the attitude of her and they way she speaks to her customers I will not be...

Lovely experience today purchasing our first lot of cake making supplies. The team here were so helpful! Have given us plenty of tips on how to make our sons 2nd birthday cake. Hopefully we can pull it off! Great range of supplies, everything you could possibly need. Must be popular because there were people coming and going the whole time we were there. Thanks so much...
