Ikeja City Mall (ICM), located on Obafemi Awolowo Way in Alausa, Ikeja, is one of Lagos State’s most prominent retail and entertainment destinations. Opened in December 2011, it holds the distinction of being the first modern shopping complex developed on the Lagos mainland. Developed by Actis and professionally managed by Broll Property Services, the mall spans approximately 23,000 square meters of retail space and houses over 90 outlets across two levels. It also offers more than 700 parking spaces to accommodate the steady influx of daily visitors.

The mall features a broad mix of tenants, including major anchors such as Shoprite and Silverbird Cinemas. Its retail offerings encompass both international and Nigerian brands, including Nike, Mango, Mr Price, Pandora, and Vlisco, alongside electronics, beauty, and lifestyle stores. A diverse food court includes global franchises and local restaurants such as KFC, Cold Stone Creamery, Ocean Basket, Chicken Republic, and The Place.

Silverbird Cinemas, with five screening rooms, provides regular film showings and special premieres, enhancing the mall’s appeal as a leisure hub. Additional amenities include banks, ATMs, pharmacies, children’s play areas, and beauty salons.

Though weekend congestion and limited parking are occasional concerns, Ikeja City Mall remains a dynamic, safe, and family-friendly commercial and social center in Lagos.

Summary:

Ikeja City Mall is a modern, spacious shopping center in Alausa, Lagos, offering a wide variety of retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment options. Home to Shoprite, Silverbird Cinemas, and several international brands, it provides a clean, secure, and family-friendly environment. Visitors enjoy the diverse food court, cinema, and convenient services like ATMs and pharmacies. While it can get crowded on weekends and parking may be limited, it remains a top destination for shopping and leisure on the...

The place improves every time I visit. For every time I go back, there’s a new outlet with something new to check out.

I’m mostly at the mall to see a movie at the Silverbird galleria but I guess the new reality has forced people to enjoy movies on their mobile devices instead of spending outrageous amounts at the cinema.

One of the most crowded places after ‘ShopRite’ is the Chicken Republic outlet. These guys needs to extend their outlet and also employ more staff to accommodate their ever-increasing customers.

If you do not want a crowded place to eat, Spur is just by the side. It’s a quiet place to enjoy a meal with your family or loved one. It’s also perfect for hangout with the friends and they do birthday shoutout.

There are other food outlets of course. If are a fan of Shawarma, Smoothies and the likes, you have them in the ground and top floor respectively.

If you’re a lover of pizza, the mall is house to your favorite pizza makers, DEBONAIR, DODO PIZZA and DOMINOS.

If you just want to chill, the mall has bars and very cool chill spot to just relax after a long day.

Not to forget, you can literally shop for anything at this mall - tech devices, fashion wears, personal & skincare products, games, anything at all.

You cannot get stranded as they have a couple of ATM stands around.

Getting back to your destination isn’t a problem as you have Uber/Bolt drivers readily waiting at the car park. If you are taking public transport, it is very easy to navigate your way as the mall is at a central location. It’s also not far from the BRT...

This mall is well planned. It contains fashion stores inclusive of wristwatch shops, shoe shops, accessories stores, perfume and deodorant stores, make up stores, clothes stores etc. It also has a device repair sore where you can be sure of premium repair services for your device. Entertainment is in top gear at this mall because it contains a cinema with latest movies. There is also a popcorn and drink stand at the cinema. The cinema features all kind of movies from action films to Indian love stories to children cartoons and local Nollywood films. The crowd here can be over whelming when there’s a new movie trending. Food! There’s lots to eat and drink in this mall as there are many restaurants located right there in the mall. Popular eateries like KFC, Chicken Republic etc. are located in the mall. There are also smaller eateries and restaurants that serve various courses including all kind of rice (fried rice, jollof rice etc.), chicken, beef, turkey, ice cream, fruit juice, smoothies, snacks (meat pies, cakes, donuts, egg roll, shawarma, sausage etc.), and lots more. One major attraction to this mall is the ShopRite store where you can shop for varieties of things are cheap affordable rates including household items, beverages, food stuffs, drinks, snacks, etc. There’s also large space for parking with a gate fee starting from NGN 200 depending on the number of hours you packed your car. In summary, it’s a nice mall with a lot of exciting experience but it can also be a turn off for people who don’t like crowded malls especially...
