Jabi Recreational Park — Attraction in Jabi

The Park is a luxury location for outdoor games like: badminton, volleyball, bicycle rides, motorbike ride, horse ride, skating, jogging, lake jet ski, table tennis, yoga, weight lifting, martial arts, and full body massage. All these facilities are available for rent or hire. Cool refreshments like smoothie, confectionaries, water, food and snacks are also available for purchase. Sporting gears like shoes, tights, shorts, shirts, glasses, phone jackets and more are available for sale. You can also choose to bring your own drinks/refreshment and simply sit by the lakeside with friends (or solo). Books of various kinds are available for sale on the premises. Saturdays and public holidays (from 6am) are the best days to go if you want 100% of all these services. What an amazing place to...

Very picturesque setting with Jabi lake in the background, but it's so much more than lovely scenery. With a circuit that takes about 25 minutes to walk around, it contains an impressive selection for fitness and exercise. Over 10 Table Tennis units, 3 Pool Tables, Volley ball and no less than 3 areas for Football. Kids want something interesting, Rollerblade lessons available. More than 5 sections offering Dance Aerobics, Floor Exercises, Yoga; impressed? There's more. Taekwondo classes and other Martial arts training. And we haven't gotten to the wide range of shops, stalls, stands and mats with sporting goods, clothes, accessories, or the general goods. You hungry? It's the busiest free recreational park in Abuja. Everything seems to be here and people are happy to come here. football, table tennis, skatting, badminton, volleyball, horse riding, bicycling, Dancing and even massaging! U can learn to play golf. The options to play or learn games are endless. Several small sports club use the place. A lot of non alcoholic drinks, fruits and smoothies by makeshift vendors. A lot of hooking up seems to also take place here. Considering the high patronage, I think the Abuja city authorities need to do something about having functional public toilets and a good waste and litter management system.
