Amazing place in Oslo!

In summer it is perfect to meet with some friends and just chill out and swim on the lake, you can camp as well since it is permitted in the area.

There are many raves as well in summer if you are a techno lover 🖤

But today we were practicing cross-country skiing, it was our first day and we were very happy with the experience. Polite people, and everything is ready to go and just skiing.

Easy access with t-bane...

It’s a really nice lake to spend time doing various activities such as swimming, camping, walking, barbecue, picnic, hiking around etc. It is a good place to take time off the city life and just be in the nature and have a peaceful time. You can get here by T-ban 5, and the last station would be Songsvann. At times, you can also see northern lights from here, but if you are going there at night, be prepared to dress up warm and carry a hot tea...

Sognsvann Lake freezes every winter making the frozen lake a place for Ice skating, Skiing and Ice hockey.

People prefer to come here for walks throughout the year and try to spend time camping and swimming during summers. Situated just 25 mins from Oslo S T-bane station, this popular recreational site offers a wonderful weekend getaway within the city limits.
