WARNING: Excellent service, helpful advice: then, shocking experience. After 15 minutes we discovered the absurd parking ‘system’—of which there is no notification in words, let alone in multiple languages as elsewhere in Norway. You are supposed to provide a piece of paper stating what time you arrived. Leave it on your dashboard and you’ll be allowed 3 hours parking. Failure to do this: the most officious person we’ve met in Norway has written a parking ticket, and submitted 5 photos of your car to the commune. 330 Kroner. Bang: guilty without knowing anything about the system at all. Everywhere else we’ve paid through electronic parking, but here this absurd practice offends visitors all the time. The staff in the centre said yes they know it’s crazy; yes, they know the man is consistently rude; but no, they can do nothing about it. What a great way to welcome people to your...

We found the museum really insightful. The staff is very friendly and the exhibition has some interacting areas.

I found very interesting the explanation on how gear for climbers evolved throughout the years and how it developed. Inside there is also a climbing wall you can use and the price is included in the ticket.

We also watched the documentary about trolls and mountains and that was interesting as well. I would definitely recommend this when...

Only a short visit after getting some fishing done off the dock it sits on, but my caramel milkshake was superb, and had it been a longer visit I would definitely grabbed a burger from the menu. They even had a bacalhau dish on the lunch menu!

A pretty cool place to hang out. Beer on tap and a good menu to choose from. Mainly though the outdoor patio and views are the main attraction here. When the sun is shining this is a great spot to visit
