Haukland Beach — Attraction in Vestvågøy

Well... I give itca 5-star, but I was leaning toward 1-star. This is arguably the most beautiful beach in Lofoten. BUT... it got spoiled. They build a monstruosity that should serve all those turists. Instead they serve very expensive coffee and cookies. The WC are partially available. There is one external shower and internal showers but closed! Oh yeah a free wifi, but you should stay very close to the building. All in all i loved the wild beach...

Fantastic place in Lofoten! Easily accessible, good parking, toilets and a cafe are on site. Relatively narrow stretch the last 500 m if you come with a camper and get a meeting, but it's still manageable. Strong tip is to take a hike up to the top of the mountain "Mannen". If you are healthy and have ok fitness you can do it. But of course it is a bit tough the last part. But of...

Take a dip in this icy cold yet enticing beach! Limited parking space but perfect as a secluded place. Beautiful shells and scenery.

Be careful when you follow signboard to Haukland, follow your GPS instead of the signboard. Many drivers had to make a u turn at the slip road.
