Haukland Beach Café — Restaurant in Vestvågøy

We are delighted and enchanted by this place. First of all, by the delicious cakes and sandwiches. I have never eaten such a delicious brownie in my life (I would gladly ask for the recipe). The sandwiches were equally delicious and made from fresh ingredients (despite having travelled another 500 km in quite a high temperature, the lettuce was still crispy). In addition, delicious coffee and hot chocolate. The view from the cafe is simply stunning. We regretted that we could not spend the whole day there. In addition, the place was served by very nice and helpful girls (we were very happy that our countrywoman was there and that we could talk in Polish). The views are stunning from inside the new cafe but the coffee was bad, really bad. Honestly, it was the worst flat white coffee ever. For me, luke warm milk with weak coffee isn’t a coffee and this comes from an expensive espresso machine. It is a pity that that staff are not trained to use it properly and how to make different coffees. They were using pictures and experimenting. I provided feedback to them and they just thank you. They said they thought we were unhappy with the coffee but they didn’t do anything about it. Don’t be one of their experiments. The banana bread didn’t seem all that fresh. The power bar was good. Good coffee good view. But you have to pay for parking even if you're spending money at the cafe! Seems really silly. Plus you are forced to download an app to park, which not all of us can do. The newly laid parking lot looks really ugly from the view point. This place seems to have really damaged the natural environment at the beach. The building is very untraditional and plain.
