Old Town Spring has the feel and look of a very quaint and picturesque small town. It is well preserved and clean. The structures retain their historic appearance. There are a lot of shops, which present visitors with diverse shopping opportunities. The same applies for restaurants. Their are also signs of a fledgling night life. I observed two restaurants/bars that were open after 8 pm. I believe Old Town Spring should capitalize on this by advertising and introducing more evening activities that do not spiral or jeopardize the overall aesthetics or charm of Old Town Spring. The same applies for historic tours of the town. I believe this is an untapped opportunity for the area, which I realized while attending a great ghost tour at Old Town Spring.

While I was visiting Houston TX. I checked out Old Town Springs. There are many quaint little stores to shop. I shopped for about 2 hours on a very hot day. 2 shops impressed me. Susy's Stuff, hand-made Brazilian craft. The butterfly piece was made with real, expired, butterflies. Her shops had many beautiful pieces made from recycled materials. I was waking by when Martha Gene pulled me in to cool off, into her Hats Bar & Boutique shop. She has hats, belts, and other leather items for the Cowboys. They can engrave most Stuff. But she was one of the friendliest people you could meet.

Really beautiful place to visit when you’re in the north Houston area! The weekdays are better to go, since there are less people, and parking won’t be as difficult. It’s home to a lot of nice local places such as Corkscrew BBQ, which has delicious BBQ! Parking can be a little hard on the weekend, but I believe there are some paid parking areas. It’s a nice place you can walk around and shop around, as well as eat some good food!! I highly recommend corkscrew BBQ and Lynn’s table. The crystal shop looks really good too! I’ll be back

I love coming to this old town! There is a variety of stores. My favorite store is The Spotted Pony Emporium, it's located across the most popular Restaurant in the town, (Wunsche Bros Cafe & Salon) They have a variety of items, from cute jewerly to house decorations, Renaissance Apparel, Pirate costumes, etc... this is the best store to visit, prices are within the normal. Another store that I like is the Brasilian store, almost every jewerly in the store is either natural or recycled, she sells beutiful hand-made Jewerly.

It was an awesome day of sipping and shopping. I bought some jewelry and a scarf from Susy's Stuff and a beautiful top from Feign Boutique. They had some beautiful fashionable clothing up to 3X. Visited Don Quixote, it was an amazing assortment of breathtaking decorative pieces. You have to see it to believe it. Then I got an all natural smoothie from the little natural foods place. Highly recommend spending a day in Old Town Spring.

This place is really great. I've been coming since I was a kid and it's always been great. Nothing has changed in that it's still awesome with many different types of shops, food and drink places, and a couple antique stores sprinkled in. My favorite part is their cats. They have a colony of well looked after, vetted, friendly cats all over the place but they're not intrusive and won't bother you unless you seek them out, like me.
