I am a regular visitor to this temple. It is calm, clean, serene, beautiful and God's gift to Hindus in Muscat. I heard from the Manager that it was built by businessmen from Gujarat about 350 years ago and no wonder why Indian rupee was accepted currency of trade those days. It has quite a few ancient trees which is all well maintained. There are toilet facilities separately both for men and women and its cleanliness is comparable to the best hotel in the country.

There are 2 Lingams in separate sanctum sanctorum and I believe the first one is the most ancient one and both are in Varanasi style viz., situated below the ground level and water dripping from the sacred kudam above. All the 3 sanctum sanctorams including Lord Hanuman are manned by 3 priests out of which one is from Udupi and 2 from North India. There are 2 make shift shops outside where they sell milk, water, oil, coconut etc.,

Deity of Hanuman is busy with vadamalas and oil offerings on Sundays. On weekends especially in the evenings always prasadam brought by devotees shall be available on the long stainless tables there apart from holy thirtam/coconut shreds, etc.,offered by the temple administration. As per the policy of local government and to maintain cleanliness no coconut shall be allowed to be broken inside the sanctum sanctorum.

After worship in the evening one can enjoy ultimate peace by watching the small artificial water fall in front of the Tulsi plant with colorful lights radiating through it with floating stones in it.

The temple is bit difficult for the first time visitors but one shall enjoy the ride as they ride through beautiful beach with many ships docked & well lit there in the evenings and walkers in the pathways, mountains, beautiful shops selling antiques/persian carpets in a bit crowded Souk area and majestic Palace on the way.
