Zaman Park is a historic public park located in the city of Lahore, Pakistan. It is situated on Ferozepur Road in the Model Town area of the city. The park covers an area of approximately 22 acres and is named after Sir Zulfiqar Ali Khan, a prominent politician and statesman who served as the Governor of Punjab during the 1960s. The park was established in the early 20th century during the British colonial era and was originally known as Lawrence Gardens. It was designed by a British architect named John Lockwood Kipling, who was the father of the famous writer Rudyard Kipling. The park was renamed as Zaman Park after Pakistan gained independence from British rule in 1947. Zaman Park is a popular recreational spot for people of all ages. It features lush green lawns, flower gardens, fountains, and several walking and jogging tracks. There are also several playgrounds and sports facilities, including a cricket ground, tennis court, and basketball court. The park also has a small lake with paddle boats that visitors can rent. In addition to its recreational facilities, Zaman Park is also home to several important landmarks and monuments. The most notable of these is the Quaid-e-Azam Library, which is located within the park's grounds. The library was established in 1962 and contains a large collection of books, manuscripts, and other materials related to the history and culture of Pakistan. Overall, Zaman Park is a beautiful and serene place to visit in Lahore, offering a welcome break from the hustle and bustle of city life
