Asia Market — Attraction in Ancón

Great little shop near AltaPlaza Mall. I stopped in to grab a few Japanese ingredients and ended up buying a ton more. One of the best in the area for specialty Asian foods and ingredients for sure. I from What I can tell it’s mostly (55%) stocked with Chinese ingredients, but I’d say the other 45% is Thai, Malaysian, Korean (less so), and Japanese. Their frozen foods were diverse, with tons of Chinese dumplings, Japanese pastes and Korean items. They even have drinks and snacks like Ramune, Pocky, etc. the surprising part was that it seems like they don’t have a ton of options for rice. I found Thai Jasmine, Nishiki Sushi, and Black rice mostly. But overall if you’re looking for a specific item you can’t find anywhere else for your Asian recipe you’ll most likely find...
