A pleasant surprise that a park in the middle of the city would have free-roaming iguanas as an attraction. Interesting how easy it was to lure them from the trees with some bread. They are used to being so close to people that I was able to get within touching distance. Saw a total of about eight of them under two adjacent trees. There are also supposed to be squirrels but I did not see any.
This park is considered the heart of the capital. It attracts your attention because it is right in the center of a busy commercial area with all types of stores. You can't help but go inside for a view. It falls under the category of town square park and not urban park, national park or state park.
