Parque Media Luna — Attraction in Lima Metropolitan Area

Very small, but extremely well kept urban park offering beautiful unobstructed Ocean views (especially nice at sunset). Even in the evening it feels extremely safe (and very well lit). It's located right in front of "La Casa de la Cultura" (a municipal culture center) and very close to theSan Miguel City Hall. It was ccreated all the way back in 1910 and it owes its name (half moon park) to the central blue-painted bandstand capped with a large metal half moon. There are some cute botanical sculptures in the shape of animals and the "obligatory" and "very Instagrammable" name of the neighborhood (San Miguel) in large colorful letters. Worth a stop,...

The park is 113 years young! (1910) It's in front of "La Casa de la Cultura" and steps from San Miguel City Hall. It boast a beautiful unobstructed sea view with beautiful sunset daily. They have many activities like dance (marinera), children games. Many weekends they have "feria", sometimes food, Pisco Sour day, Fiestas Patrias and many more. Very relaxing place for locals...

Es un parque grande, tiene como una pequeña Alameda rodeadas de edificios, restaurantes cerca y esta bien ubicado en San Miguel, súper centrico para llegar a Plaza San Miguel, a Magdalena, Pueblo libre y la costa verde. Tiene un ciclovía que conecta con la de la costa verde o una ciclovía provisional a la altura se la avenida ejército y esta misma conecta hasta miraflores y barranco, es una súper ruta para hacerla en bici(algunos tramos no tiene ciclovia) Tiene una hermosa vista hacia el mar y a los domos en la costa verde durante la tarde corre viento, así que es recomendable ir con un pequeño abrigo. Tiene un skate park pequeño pero bien implementado, barras para calistenia y diverso juego para niños. La gente va a realizar ejercicios a esa zona, además la misma municipalidad brinda clases grupales de aeróbicos, bailes, etc (en época de pandemia corroborar con la página web de la municipalidad), esta zona está bien resguardada, tiene caseta de serenazgo y constantemente pasan carro municipales...
