Museum is rather small but quite informative. It holds some valuable historical artifacts. Creating organs made of bamboo was an idea of Father Diego Cerra, as a way of saving money. He started work on the organs in 1816 and they were completed in 1824. Currently the organs have 902 bamboo pipes and 129 metal ones. They can be heard during scheduled Sunday mass or during the Bamboo Organ Festival which is usually held in February. The entrance to the museum costs 200 PHP per person and includes guided tour through the museum and the visit to the gallery to see the organs up close. The museum is actually more interesting than we thought. Highly...

The Bamboo Organ Museum preserves the artefacts of the old bells and the first component that make up the Bamboo Organ used in Las Pinas Church until the present day.

The 2nd storey building contains statue images of Holy Family, the building still used the reinforced wooden floors and railings of the stairs, and the passageway to the Church where choir sings, and the Bamboo pipe components of the Bamboo Organ.

The full details of the 17th century of Las Pinas Church and the development of Bamboo Organ is on the ground...

I studied Italian languange for 10months in 2001. Never practiced it verbally since then. With Italian friends now with us I have no choice but to speak with them in their tounge surprising even myself that my Italian is on a conversational level. We took this photo while visiting the Bamboo Organ Church and Museum.
