Seoul Gui 199 — Restaurant in 1st District

The customer service here is terrible. They are extremely slow in serving, and you have to wait 15-20 minutes for each refill. The meat they serve is always flavorless, and when you ask for flavorful meat, you have to wait another 20 minutes to get it. Sometimes, even when you order beef, they'll give you a lot of plain pork, leave it on your table, and ignore you so they can charge you. The employees are rude and act like they’re deaf. There's also an elderly server who serves slowly, and keeps asking the same questions about missing items or refills because she constantly forgets. When she asks, she doesn’t serve you right away and goes to serve others, then comes back to ask again. You’ll lose your appetite because of the terrible service and the employees’ attitude. The space isn’t even safe when it rains, you'll get wet, and they don't care....

The food was okay and tasty—we honestly enjoyed everything, even the side dishes were alright. But just for awareness, I want to say that their service is bad. We could’ve enjoyed the food more if the service was better. Considering they charge an additional service fee, I don’t think it was worth it (at least for us) because they always acted like they didn’t hear us calling. We had to stand up and bring the plates or containers ourselves every time we needed something.

They were also super slow sa serving nila, to the point that we were slowly losing our appetite from time to time. I’ll also add that some of the staff were rude and not welcoming at all.

It was also really hot. I understand that the place isn’t air-conditioned, but even the fans weren’t working. We tried to sit at a table near the only fan that was working, but they didn’t let...

This samgyup place has been my cousins and I's go-to place when it comes to Korean BBQ, since it's the nearest one in our place. I really loved the plain pork, I just did and Idk why, nothing special. I give 4 stars for food instead of 5, everything tastes good except their Kimchi because it's too dry and kinda salty. There are instances the staffs are inadequate to give good services to the customers(Well, of course they also feel exhausted), but it's okay. I just feel like they need to expand their branch since a lot of people are waiting so much in the line, also, the need to have more staff to be able to accomodate all the customers' needs. Lastly, IT'S SO FREAKING HOT THEREEEEE especially on midday and afternoon so y'all better bring your own mini...
