We had a great time at Quinale Beach Bar, and I truly appreciate that it’s managed by the local government. There's a 30 pesos per head fee but they give discounts to PWDs/Senior Citizens. While it took over 10 minutes to provide us with a vacant table and chairs, it was understandable since it was a holiday, and the service overall wasn’t bad.
One hiccup was that the cashier forgot to advise the kitchen to prepare our order, which added to our wait time. Thankfully, another staff member (I think her name was Mara or Maya) stepped in and proactively followed up on our orders, which we really appreciated.
The location is exceptional, and the food was surprisingly among the best we’ve had in Anda! If it wasn’t such a long drive from Dagohoy, we’d happily dine here regularly.
The only downside for us was the shower situation. Since soaps and shampoos are prohibited in the shower rooms, we could only rinse with water, which didn’t feel comfortable as we’re used to rinsing with soap.
Overall, I’d highly recommend Quinale Beach Bar. Next time, we’re planning to book a nearby BnB so we can enjoy the beach to the fullest and have a comfortable rinse after. It’s truly worth the visit, and I hope it continues to maintain its charm. Living in Dagohoy, we’d much rather drive to Anda than Panglao for...
Read moreBohol offers its own white-sand gem with Quinale Beach, located a few kilometers from the more popular Panglao Island. Known for its powdery sand, Quinale rivals the likes of Dumaluan and Alona Beach, but with a more peaceful atmosphere. This public beach is a hidden treasure for those seeking tranquility away from the crowds.
Unlike the bustling Panglao, Anda remains off the beaten path, providing a unique and laid-back vibe. The affordability of rooms and dining options here is a pleasant contrast to the higher prices in Panglao. Its serene environment makes it perfect for a quiet escape from the chaos of daily life.
Quinale Beach boasts an impressively wide shoreline, offering plenty of space for visitors to relax. Conveniently situated just a stone's throw from Anda's town center, the beach is close to essential amenities like stores, restaurants, the church, and...
Read moreA pristine, expansive, and white sandy beach in Bohol caught my attention. I find its sand quality and scenic beauty more appealing than Panglao Beach. However, the drawback is its remote location and limited options for amenities, spas, and restaurants. I recommend considering Quinale Beach in Anda, Bohol, only if you're embarking on a do-it-yourself tour from Bohol to Camiguin Island via Jagna Pier. The journey to Jagna Pier from Tagbilaran center takes nearly two hours, while reaching Anda Proper takes around an hour. It's essential to note that transportation services to and from Anda are infrequent, requiring multiple trips via bus, van, and tricycle. Otherwise, it could become a time-consuming venture, so...
