Hangover Restobar — Restaurant in Anda

Our second time of coming here after Palawan because my husband already love Anda as the best place to go in Bohol. My parents are from Lila but they’re home now☝️. Anyway, this place is kind like a jungle concepts design that you will think that why there is hanging on top. But as a whole idea, this is taken from this that you tell to yourself that this is one of a kind(Unique). The owner( Sherie and her husband Kim) are very nice and friendly that we feel like we known them for long.My husband is very talkative that take all their time listening to him😂.Sherie’s beautiful sisters are here as well to cook and serve you to the best of their ability. Furthermore, this place has lots to offer, from deliciously made foods, souvenir, room for rent, tattoos and motorcycle rental which is good. To share further on food experience, you will never regret to come and dine all meals of the day that you will never care of staying and spending because it truly worth. Lots of foreigners coming here. Rooms: A good place to spend overnight after exploring Anda as this is the great place to stay when you want to have vacation in Bohol. Sand is white and it’s just a walking distance from this place. Tattoos: if you like having one, this place is also had the professional service that has experience serving inside the military camp in long time that you can assure of what you will expect. Hangover is a must-visit restaurant right in the center of Anda town. The food is absolutely fantastic, with vegan options and creative, delicious dishes. The vegetables are organic and come straight from the owner’s garden, which makes everything feel fresh and full of flavor.

The atmosphere is cozy and natural, with plenty of greenery and beautiful bamboo and guadua furniture that give the place a unique charm. Don’t miss their draft beer—it’s served perfectly cold!

They also offer a few simple and affordable rooms under the name “Kim’s Garden Inn.” It’s a convenient and budget-friendly option right in the heart of town.

Wir können diesen Laden leider nicht empfehlen und die guten Bewertungen leider nicht verstehen. Das Ambiente ist schon was besonderes. Leider war es dann dann auch schon.

Am Tisch war der Serviettenständer leer. Statt aufzufüllen wurde er einfach nur weggeräumt. Wir wollten eine Maracuja-Magarita bestellen, weil sie groß und deutlich beworben wurde. War als Saison-Ware aber nicht verfügbar. Ich bin dann auf ein Fassbier umgestiegen - zwar gekühlt, aber keinesfalls "eiskalt", wie von einigen beschrieben. Die bestellten Gerichte und Getränke kamen sehr zügig. Als Vorspeise hatten wir Papaya Salat, der aber nichts mit einem normalen Papaya Salat zu tun hatte und schmeckte, wie sauer eingelegte Gurken. Als Hauptgerichte hatten wir Beef Quessadilla und einen Quarter Pounder mit Käse bestellt. Die Quessdila war dank des Einsatzes von VIEL Sellerie geschmacklich passabel, allerdings auch sehr fettig. Der Burger (mit 460? PHP der teuerste Burger auf der Karte) allerdings unterirdisch. Brötchen trocken getoastet und wie von vorgestern, der Beef-Patty trocken gebraten und zerbröselte schon vom Anstechen mit der Gabel. Die Pommes waren passabel aber ungesalzen. Angerichtet war beides mit einigen lieblos geschnittenen Gurkenscheiben und 1 Stängel Dill bei der Quessadilla.. Dafür, dass eine Kooperation mit einer lokalen Organic Vegetable Farm beworben wird, einfach zu wenig.

Vielleicht hätten wir uns zu einem zweiten Getränk oder einem Nachtisch hinreißen lassen. Aber der Besitzer war mit einem Handyspiel beschäftigt und die 3 Damen an der Bar wirkten lustlos und reagierten weder auf Augenkontakt, noch winken. Auch an den anderen Tischen (trotz voller Belegung) war aber auch nicbt mehr Einsatz erkennbar - es scheint also nicht an uns gelegen zu haben. Wir sind dann zum bezahlen an die Bar gegangen. Willkommen haben wir uns jedenfalls nicht gefühlt.

Sehr Schade, da das Lokal echt Potenzial für einem rundum gelungenen Abend haben könnte. Das Engagement der Servicekräfte und die Speisenqualität haben es aber echt...
