My recent visit to the Zabali Hanging Bridge was a mixed experience. The location offers a breathtaking view, making it a promising destination for nature enthusiasts and photography enthusiasts alike. However, I couldn't help but feel concerned about the safety of the bridge during my visit.

Let's start with the positives: The panoramic view from the Zabali Hanging Bridge is nothing short of spectacular. It provides a unique vantage point to admire the natural beauty of the surrounding area. The lush, verdant landscape, complete with a meandering river and distant hills, is a sight to behold. The bridge's location provides ample opportunities for capturing stunning photographs, which leads me to the highlight of our visit.

We had the privilege of having our pictures taken by a local child who exhibited an impressive talent for panoramic shots. It was evident that this young photographer had an innate understanding of the bridge's best angles and the surrounding landscape. Their ability to compose shots surpassed our own, resulting in a collection of captivating photographs that truly captured the essence of the place.

However, my enthusiasm was tempered by concerns about the bridge's safety. The bridge's structural condition appeared less than reassuring, and the sense of stability while crossing was not entirely comforting. While I understand that hanging bridges can have an element of thrill, this seemed to veer into discomfort and unease. The creaking and swaying of the bridge were disconcerting, and some parts of the walkway showed signs of wear and tear. It's essential for both visitors and local authorities to take safety seriously to ensure a positive experience...

A hanging bridge which is 150 meters long. The idea came from the same bridge in Bohol which is 70 meters long (not very sure on the length). The guide stated that only 20 people can use the bridge at the same time, as overloading would be a repeat of the 2015 incident in which a steel suspension ripped was apart due to 150 people using it at the same time. People with fear of heights can try challenging themselves on this one too! However, the guide also discouraged it for people with hypertension and heart illness. Across the bridge is a set of souvenir shops filled with delicacies, apparel, trinkets and other local products. 😊

Do take care as you also need to muster the same courage since you do have to get back on the other side. And it would be proven difficult if you have friends in front who would intentionally rock the bridge to...

Zabali Hanging Bridge is one of known tourist spots in Baler' its also nice place exciting to passed on the bridge end to end over looking views around the place. However, you need to observe and need extra carefull while passing into the bridge because some of the supporting cables are rusty and deretiorated supports cables, partially wreck and weak wood deck. And also we noticed when getting in into the bridge tourist visitors are not aware the loading capacity of the bridge. When we got there, Were experiencing fear because even the bridge i think beyond its load capacity no body noticed still they get to come in and come in and occupied the whole long long span of the bridge, which is passers is migth be at risk. Lastly the parking fee...

Zabali Bridge in Baler, Aurora may just look like a simple bridge, but the moment you stand on it, you’ll realize how stunning the view really is. From here, you can see the vast ocean on one side and the lush mountains on the other—it’s like a perfect frame of what Aurora is known for: waves and nature. Crossing the bridge feels refreshing, especially with the sea breeze hitting your face. Many locals and travelers stop by not just to pass through but to take photos or simply admire the scenery. It’s a calm spot that gives you a pause before heading to the busy surf spots or town proper. For me, Zabali Bridge is more than a crossing—it’s a viewpoint that captures the natural beauty of Baler in one glance. Definitely worth a quick stop when you’re in Aurora.

A great place to conquer your fear of heights or acrophobia. The swinging of the bridge feels like scary at the same time exciting. You will have hesitation at first when you will see the built of the bridge, it's worn out woods as its bridge, rusty ropes and cables that holds the hangers. But once you reached the middle part of the bridge. It's all excitement. Reaching the other part is a fulfillment. There are locals, reassuring that the bridge is safe and they uses it every single day. As I've said, For an acrophobic person, it is the simplest, cheapest way to conquer your fear for a 20 pesos or any amount that you can donate for the maintenance of the bridge. And be patient to wait for the right timing so you can take the perfect selfie.
