The place has change big time over the years. I still remember the old times when my lola (grandmother) and I used to visit the plaza every weekends after going to the church. (The plaza is adjacent to a Minor Basilica Parish of Batangas.
The plaze used to have grounds for children to play, however, not much now is available. However, it is still good for jogging and small walks, school practices and a small chill and tambay at sunset.
Has some flower stores on the sides and a coffee shop which sell local commodities from all over Batanagas/Batangas Province.

They should also improve the police visibility and overall security around the area as it is the center of the center of the City and criminal elements are surely widespread throughout. The gingerbread house sort of "props" looks good only in the pictures but in reality they look like mediocre makeshift cardboard displays intended to lure people into visiting and appreciating the lackluster park more but the ruse is unsuccessful, at least for me. A few old and large trees along the perimeter with a paved open space in the middle with a monument. Annoyingly loud Zumba classes for several hours in the morning, otherwise it's mostly peaceful.
