We came to visit during the fiesta and there were a lot of parishoners inside. The design of the church is nice and the outside is unique since it is painted black. They have also a cross design in their chairs. The thing that I can comment is that for the lihhtningnof candles area they can make it bigger or in a different location. Other than that it is a relaxing place to visit

We visited on a weekday, a couple of days before Christmas. There were very few people inside. The silence was refreshing and this made our experience more solemn. The photos I shared here were mostly of St. Joseph's Garden. You can find the Garden at the right side of the church building. From here you can catch a glimpse of the beautiful yet tragic river - Cagayan River.

This cathedral is a great place for reflections. I always attend mass here every 10:30 in the morning. The mass presider's homily is deep and full of reflections from real life situations. They also have private prayer room. The cathedral's location is very strategic. They empowered youth because the students usually assigned as commentators.

It's a very decent church situated beside a park filled with vendors selling cultural "pasalobongs," stuffs and thing, and some filipino cultural and street foods. St. Augustine Metropolitan Cathedral of Cagayan de Oro City, Philippines, will be celebrating its 400th year anniversary of Christianity in the City.

Very well-ventilated, really nice ambiance. Similar to Quiapo Church/Baclaran Church, lots of Church-goers. Went here last August 28, 2019 because it was the feast of St. Augustine and Higalaay Festival in Cagayan de Oro City. My first time and I really loved the Holy Mass experience.
