Here's my presonal review of Tadakuma Japanese Restaurant.
Food Ordered: Shoyu Ramen and Gyoza, my staple in any Japanese restaurant so I can honestly say it's easil for me to compare.
Overall Feedback: The restaurant is a decent Japanese joint. Although my palate for Japanese restaurant is high, Tadakuma Japanese Restaurant ranks average in taste.
Location: Very accessible Cleanliness: The diner is well kept. The interior is also nice. Staff are keeping it clean and organized. Price: Good enough for the taste. Taste: The shoyu ramen is average in taste. The broth still lacks flavor I usually look for in shoyu soup. The pork strips were very small in portion and the taste and texture were below Japense standards of chashu. The gyoza was too oily, it kept slipping off my chopsticks but the gyoza was flavorful and huge.
Do I recommend...

It was much too heavy for my taste and what I usually eat with japanese cuisine, it wasn't the first time I ate a bento but compared to others, it was the sloppiest I could find. I still gave it 4 stars since I loved some of the dishes on the bento that I ate itself. Service was fine, just needs a little smile. I love the soup that they served, not sure if it was included with the seafood bento that I ordered. I still want to give this restaurant a second try and hoping for the best...

It is difficult to find sashimi in CDO and at least here it is available, however everything was too thickly cut. The miso soup was good but not great (was it a mix?). Service was pretty good if unsmiling. The atmosphere was simple and since the music was loud and nearby other guests were also loud, we had to shout to understand each other's conversations. Not sure if I would go back but the meal...
