PROS: We went in the morning on a weekday, and it actually felt like the place was exclusive to us (well it wasn't crowded at all) but having said that, I think it was just good timing.

Aesthetic wise, it's actually quite nice, though the thick aquarium glass could do with a bit more cleaning so we can better see the fishes. But I do think it's got the potential to be something better a couple years from now.

The place was wheelchair friendly, which I was very impressed with, except that my brother wasn't able to see the lories on the 2nd floor because the lift would only take them straight to the 3rd floor.

We got good group photos, but not of the actual animals (since there were only a few).

CONS: Right off the bat, upon entering the park, we were told that water flasks were not allowed inside due to safety purposes (I know it would be unsafe for the animals if someone would pour something dangerous in their tanks). I then started to question whether that overweighed the fact that it is hot in Cebu, and people need to stay hydrated. We caved in but asked if we could bring just our baby's water and our moms (2 senior citizens) and my brother (PWD) , to which they still said no. By this time I've had enough and just wanted to get inside and start the tour.

When we got in, we saw the price of the drinks: 80 for soda cans 40 for bottled water

(Yeah, I had the same reaction)

This is just my suggestion though, but what would have helped was, if they were going to ban drinks from outside (especially water), it would have been nice to offer a family friendly alternative, like a drinking station with plastic/ paper cups (if the issue of having actual drinking fountains were because of COVID). The weather was scorching, and to top it all, we were wearing masks because we had to. (So yes, you can imagine how thirsty and uncomfortable it was for us walking around). They however did provide ventilation with huge fans in every room.

The experience was quite expensive for the attractions we got to see. The only highlight of the day was the bird show, which was fun, but was very short. After the show, we expected to see more of the park, but the presenter said that if we wanted to exit the park, it's through the oceanarium. That was it. Done.

So obviously, we were hungry, and thirsty, so we made our way to SM seaside.

The whole thing only took 2 hours for us to finish.

I have high hopes for this ocean park, give it a few years and more attractions. It's a beautiful park, however, I don't think we will be going back...
