I recently had the pleasure of visiting Anjo World Theme Park in Minglanilia, Cebu, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! As a theme park enthusiast, I've been to my fair share of parks around the world, but Anjo World truly stands out from the crowd. Here's why:

Immersive European Experience: The park is designed to transport you to a charming European village, complete with cobblestone streets, Gothic architecture, and rustic charm. The attention to detail is impressive, making you feel like you're in a real European town.

Thrilling Attractions: With over 15 rides and attractions, there's something for every thrill-seeker and family member. From roller coasters like "The Pharaoh's Ride" and "Boomerang" to water rides like "Splash Battle" , you'll find yourself screaming with delight.

Family-Friendly Fun: Don't worry if you're traveling with younger kids - Anjo World has plenty of gentle rides and attractions suitable for all ages. Like the "Golden courassel", "Space Shuttle", Mr. Cup, and Mr. Toad is specifically designed for little ones, with adorable rides and play structures.

Delicious Food and Drinks: The park offers a variety of dining options, from traditional cuisine to international flavors like pizza and ice cream. Be sure to try some of the local specialties!

Atmosphere and Service: The park's atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with friendly staff and volunteers always willing to assist. The park's cleanliness and maintenance are top-notch, making for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Special Mentions:

The "Snow World" winter-themed area is a unique highlight of the park, featuring snowball fights, snowmen building, and even snow sledding down gentle slopes. The park's nighttime spectaculars are truly breathtaking.

Cons: While Anjo World is an amazing park, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Unfortunately, photography is not allowed in Snow World or on any of the rides due to safety precautions. This was a bit disappointing for me, as I loved taking photos of the winter wonderland. If you do want to take photos, you can hire a professional photographer who will take pictures for you. However, this comes at a cost - around 200-250 per photo! It's a bit pricey, but I guess it's worth it for the memories.

What Really Stood Out: What I loved most about Anjo World was the lack of crowds! I visited on a weekday during the off-season and had the entire park practically to myself. It was like having my own personal theme park experience! The freedom to explore without waiting in lines or bumping into crowds made it an even more enjoyable day.

Conclusion: Anjo World Theme Park is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a unique theme park experience. With its immersive European-inspired setting, thrilling attractions, delicious food options, and special events like Snow World, there's something for everyone. While there are some limitations on photography, it's worth it for the overall experience. Don't miss out on this hidden gem! With its attention to detail, commitment to quality, and dedication to providing an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages, I highly recommend adding it to your bucket list.

Recommendations:

Plan your visit on a weekday during the off-season to avoid crowds. Arrive early to beat the heat and enjoy the park's morning attractions. Try some of the local specialties at the park's food stalls. Don't miss Snow World during the winter months! Take advantage of the park's special offers and discounts by booking in...

To what the place prioritizes most which are the attractions, what I can say is that it was quite lovely. Though of little amount, the rides were quite fun and certainly interesting on how it riles up the people in enjoying the whole thing. Another priority of the whole theme park is the so called "Snow World". It was quite lovely too since it was the closest thing we got to know what snow feels like. The large ice slide was interesting if not a bit underwhelming. But hey, what do I expect? It's mostly an oversized playground slide that's interesting. Could've been better if there were some interactions from the staff in the ice slide in a positive way. But looking into more detail, the whole atmosphere of the theme park is quite cold. Colder than the "Snow World" itself if you get what I mean. Did you keep in check of your staff's positivity? I hope that your managers aren't pressuring them too hard that they became numb or something. There are some that offer some smiles which is quite lovely especially since 2020 was such as saddening year, but that's overburdened by the sheer majority of others that do the opposite. It's quite sad and somewhat a bit unwelcoming honestly. The place is only good for a big group since their positivity would be kept lively because of their interactions and spread out emotions with each other. Flooding their eyes against the overall atmosphere in the place and feel what other people from the group feels. But if it were only a trio or less, I'd say it would be a quite depressing stay for them, which is what I have encountered. If they can't make light conversations that would make people laugh, then the least they could do is smile to us. "Service with a smile" as what I'm saying. God, even thinking about it makes me want to cry. We came there for happiness, but not all of us were happy. Both the group and the staff. Anyways, it's best if lovely people like you who's reading this would come as a group of at least 6 or more. Probably best if you dont go below it. If a parent is reading this, if you prioritize on keeping your child happy over yourselves, then yeah you could come here too. It's fun to see your child being happy, isn't it? Just be sure to keep your child cheerful yourselves. Otherwise, it would be a cold experience for him or her. If Anjo is gonna charge us a butt load of money, then at least make it feel like it was quite worth it. It's not the rides that are the ones the make memories, it's the people. No one gets flailed around from rides and expects to get happiness from it. They need other human interactions to let out the positivity from within themselves. That is why I only put three stars. The attractions were the most prioritized...

For a place that just opened recently (<1 yr), I think this place should've felt more new. We paid 500php for a full day access, and additional 200php for the Snow World. But there are 2 non-functioning rides which included the Pharaoh roller coaster and Viking swinging ship (actually sila unta ang worth it, sad)...so to be honest, the remaining rides are not worth 500 php. The space for the bumper cars is depressing lol the tower dive was meh, and the space ship/plane rides are so so. In short, if you want thrilling rides then get the: roller coaster (under repair) and idk what you call it, basta ang parang rotating and swinging thing nila HAHAHAHA But I REALLY LOVE THE FERRIS WHEEL AT NIGHT AND ITO YUNG WORTH IT FOR ME 💕 ride it in the evening, the best kung closing na kasi walang pila :)) For the Snow World, this requires you an additional 150php for ear covers and gloves for the snow slide. Don't get me wrong, you really need them because it's really freezing inside. Just know that the jackets are not really newly washed, they give to you what was worn by the other customers so I really suggest you wear long sleeves when you go there for added protection. Also, bawal mag take ng own photos, dapat talaga you pay for their photographer + printout ng picture (add 200 pesos na naman). The "coffee" inside Snow world is 80 pesos na buy one take one, tapos milo nila is 50 pesos. All in a small cup 🤧 What else? I think the hotdog stand should be improved, the ladies there worked nonstop to serve and I admire them for their hardwork. Please! Don't understaff this place. Ang sikip ng workplace nila and sobrang dami ng customers, naubosan pati ng tinapay 😭 My honest honest review is sana iallow kahit outside water kasi no joke yung rates nila sa loob hehe personally, I'll only come back here if fully functional lahat and may new rides. It's overpriced for me, given the amenities. But a new place is a new place. Happy to see this kind of tourist spot in Cebu! P.S. Madali magcommute going to Anjo from SM city cebu.

The one thing that placed Minglanilla on the map and left a mark of joy in my heart. I just had one of the most amazing theme park experience ever. It feels like the kid in me (a man on his thirties) has reawaken. Just when I was about to enter the theme park, my eye immidietely captures the towering granduer of The Anjo Eye. I have ridden several ferris wheels during my childhood but nothing compares to the joy and excitement I felt as our gondola is about to reach the summit. Beside the Anjo Eye there are several rides to choose from. The number of rides depends on the kind of tickets you buy. You can choose from unli-ride if you want to try it all out, or you can do three rides only. Tickets have discounted rates on weekdays. Also, these tickets serves as your admission to the park, so if you're not planning to hop unto any rides and just want to post selfies, forget it. There are several amusement rides to choose from ranging from kid-friendly to death defying - you name it. Besides their huge ferris wheel, they also have other classics like Carousels and the Vikings. If you want to go to the extreme, then take the Boomerang. Experience the feeling of almost being tossed around and fly galloping in the sky. Reserved only for the strongest of hearts and stomach. Aside from there rides, the theme park also showcase several atteactions inside which you can include as add-ons to your tickets - the 4D Experience where you will take a journey to VR and Snow World, an ice museum.

Tickets: There's a different line for their promo tickets and their unli-ride tickets. What I noticed is that there are different lines for the people who booked online or via Klook, line for PWD, Pregnant women and Senior Citizens, and for the regular unli-ride tickets. But the where the line ends is quite confusing cause there are people who don't fall in line properly. For those who availed the promo tickets (180 Php), you can upgrade it to 250 Php to include Snow World. Rides: All in all, Anjo World has 12 rides (excluding the Snow World). Queueing foelr these ride can take up to 1 hour depending on the popularity. Food: There's food inside but lines for the food are quite long there's also food outside but you're not allowed to bring it inside the park premises. Photos: You can have photos taken in some rides and claim it at the end. Usually costs about 200-499 Php. Note: You're not allowed to use gadgets inside the Snow World. Tips: 1. Don't go during a holiday or a weekend. 2. Don't avail the unli-ride if you go on a weekend or holiday in the afternoon. 3. Eat before going. 4. Wear comfy clothes. Open toe shoes/sandals are not allowed inside the Snow World. 5. Bring extra cash upon entering Snow World cause you will need to buy the ear muffs and gloves because you're not aloowed to use the ice slide when inside.
