Uzi's Beach — Attraction in Dauin

The tables they're renting for 400php are old, very dirty, unhygienic and most of them are broken! Plenty of dogs are sleeping on the tables or just scratching their flees away. Not really what I have in mind to put food or drinks on it. It's really time to spend some money in renovation!!! Toilet is free but at the men side you can't close the door. The location is nice but the beach in Dauin is nice all over! Honestly, there are WAY BETTER places all over next to Uzi and where you don't have to pay to sit on old bamboo benches!!! Do I recommend this...

Enjoyed our time here. The property is very well maintained. Toilets are clean w a few shower areas with changing rooms. Theres also a clean dedicated area for grilling and preparing food. The best part is you swim out right into an abundant sunctuary! The owner is a bit strict, no music allowed. Which is actually really nice. You emjoy a peaceful quiet time here. Cottage that accomodates 8 cost 350-400. Smaller table with umbrellas at 150-350. Some lounge chairs and hammocks are scattered around the property too. Theres an entrance fee of p30/head....

The snorkeling is excellent with corals and an abundance of fish just a few meters from shore.

However, the woman collecting fees for the tables is an unscrupulous. I visited 3 times, all during school hours. Day 1 she charged 120p for a table. Day 2 she charged 200p for a table. Day 3 she charged 400p for a table. All small tables. She claimed the tables were reserved, yet there were less than two other groups present. This was a week day during school and very high waves.
