Morong Beach — Attraction in Morong

Such an interesting place to visit. Morong Beach itself has so much potential, but it looks like the resorts on the beach don't take any responsibility to keep the beach clean or make it really comfortable, even while they seem to provide lifeguards at some places. The beach is soft brown sand (hot in the sun), but as soon as you go into the warm water, the sand is super soft and white under the waves. The water is actually very clear, and I could see my feet on the bottom while I was neck deep in the water. For whatever reason, it doesn't look clear from other angles, but it's really nice. The odd thing is that each beach resort on the strip is like it's own separate walled fortress. No chairs or umbrellas outside the fortress walls, so the beach, empty lots between resorts, and street outside feel like a DMZ/no-mans-land. Tons of trash and ugliness 10 steps from each gate. Also the resorts on the beach and separated from town by a bridge at one end. There are no restaurants or shops at the resorts (that we found), beyond what each resort may offer inside it's wall. They (city?) were charging a per-person fee to cross the bridge when we arrived. Not expensive, but felt strange. Like medieval bridge bandits. The small city of Morong is just a 5-10 minute walk across the bridge, and has tons of little shops and local restaurants, that I though were well...

The beach and scenery was very nice. There are a lot of stray dogs that will hang around with you all night. Also 1 cat. I started naming them all. Most of them I think that's the only way they eat unfortunately. All of them were friendly. The down side to this beach is that it's not a very good place to swim. Super ganda ng Morong Bataan Beach. Pero calling po sana sa local government po ng Morong Bataan. Linisin at panatilihing malinis ang dalampasigan natin. Sa halos 3 days ko na pag stay napansin ko na lahat ng basura ng mga nag oover night sa dalampasigan iniiwan lang at di nililinis o inaalis ang mga basura at napupunta ito sa dagat at kalat kalat sa buong dalampasigan! Maging responsible po snaa tayo para sa kalinisan ng ating kapaligiran. For the local government please help po sa may mga resort na mabigyan pasin ang problema sa basura sa ating dalampasigan. Pwede po tayo sana mag lagay ng basurahan sa bawat station ng mga resort or every morning may mga mag lilinis na volunteer mula sa baranggay or dagdag trabaho sa mga taong walang work. Pwede po natin e charge ng environmental fee kagaya Boracay para sa kalinisan ng ating kapaligiran! Sana mapansin at matugunan ang panawagan kong ito sa lahat ng mga taga Morong Bataan please alagaan natin ang malinis na kapaligaliran upang mapanglagaan ang ating natural na yaman. Please...
