Last minute staycation with the family. My parents suggested we book this place since we heard it was owned by Kapampangans (we're from Pampanga). We came a little early for check in, when we arrived, we got lost. We walked for around 5 minutes looking for the reception. We were obviously lost but no one approached us. The reception was inside one the rooms, and there were no signages at all. The only positive thing that happened is that we were allowed to check in early without any fees. We rested for a little while and decided to eat lunch at their resto. We tried to figure out where to order, we approached the bar and there were two men inside trying to fix something. We asked if that was where we had to order, one of them answered, "dito pero wala yung babae" Seriously? He was obviously working for the resort but did not bother getting our orders or atleast politely answering. No one from the two men bothered to call whoever was in charge of taking the orders. So we just sat down and waited since we were too tired to argue. When the girl finally came, we had our orders ready. But she just gave us a menu and left. We had to call her again to order. There were only two other tables occupied so we thought the order would only take about 30 minutes. We decided to go back to the room first and asked them to just call us when the food's ready... we had to wait an hour and half for the food. When the food came, there were no plates and utensils so we had to wait again. At around past 6 pm, there were 4 brownouts. We decided to have dinner at the resto again. We pre-ordered at around 6:30 pm. Waited for another hour and a half for dinner to be served.. we ordered chicked and nilaga. And the beef was really really hard. Impossible to eat... In the morning, there was sand coming out of the toilet's water and the sink and faucet's water as well. There was no clean water. My brother went to the reception to ask for assistance but no one was there. I decided to call all 4 mobile numbers and 2 landline numbera posted in their website and nobody answered in all 6 numbers. We decided to just check out really. We checked out at 8 am. Worst experience ever. I understand that this is nowhere near a 5 star property, but let's atleast train our staff to be more polite and ready to help. Also, we know that you lack staff but if you are running a high occupancy specially on a long weekend, atleast hire extra people to help out in your operations. Lastly, there should always be someone at the reception and most importantly, someone should answer calls at any time of the day. Just delete the numbers in your website if nobody...
Read moreBeen there last holy week sat-sun. With all honesty, I will definitely not recommend this resort.. There were lot of things to be disappointed at. First, very poor staff & mgt performance (Pero mabait naman mga staff). No life guards both in pool and beach (kaya pag magdala kayo ng kids, bantayan niyo). My brother's toe got wounded because of a broken tile of the kiddie pool (one kid's knee was severely wounded too before my brother, but no action was taken until my tita got mad). Thumbs down for their public shower and mostly their CRs- toilet bowls were dirty, smelly and no flush. Our check-in time was 2 pm, but the rooms were still not ready. We were not assisted to our rooms, we even had to ask where our room was. Second, Deluxe Room is absolutely not worth every penny. We booked for 2 rooms. 2 SUPER Deluxe Rooms. Their Air-cons do not fit for a SUPER deluxe room. Yung Ref.. nakoo talaga.. We even had to transfer to other room in the evening because we just found out our window has no lock and anyone can pass by there; the air con was not functioning well, the toilet bowl was stinky, no flush and was clogged. Yet, no sorry and we were not again assisted. Nakoo, yung nilipatan namin, karumi ng bowl at di rin nagfaflush. Sige tulog nalang kami. :D Sa isang room nalang kami jumebs. haha! Third, NOT SECURED, anyone can enter the resort, no security guard in all their gates (nakapasok nga kaming lahat ng kasama ko ng walang sumisita.) One guy was drunk and went to pool then threw up there. Yes he vomited, but no one cleaned the pool. Kasi naman, wala ngang nagbabantay haha!!! Pagod na ako mag-english.. :D BASTA, THUMBS DOWN AKO SA RESORT NA...
Read moreYou must have already heard of Phi Phi Islands. It is a group of islands in Thailand located near Phuket and Krabi. There's a ferry service that would take you there from either of these two locations in just two hours. Now, in the Philippines, there's one resort named after the Phi Phi islands. You wouldn't have to go to Thailand to enjoy the place. Just travel to Morong, Bataan. There are many public buses that can take you there in less than three hours.||||We went to and stayed overnight at the Phi Phi Hotel and Beach Resort for a faculty meeting. It was one of our school activities. It is a beachfront accommodation (although it also has its own swimming pools). For group meetings, you can avail of any of its various function rooms (function room, conference room, pavilion, convention hall). For overnight stay, on the other hand, the resort offers different types of accommodation (superior rooms, deluxe rooms, dorms, cabanas, villas, suites, etc.). Lowest rate is around 1800 pesos (low season) or 2300 pesos (peak season).||||For relaxation, you can take a dip in the beach anytime you want (provided that the wind is not so strong and the waves are not so high). You can play volleyball on the beach, go fishing, jetski, try the resort's foods and drinks at its bar and restaurant, or simply breathe some fresh air in one of its picnic huts.||||Over-all, my stay at Phi Phi Hotel and Beach resort was very relaxing. It's a good place for a brief get-away from my daily hectic work schedule in Manila. Highly...
