San Francisco Parish Church — Attraction in Naga

San Francisco de Asis Parish is located in downtown Naga. It's weekday (monday to saturday) schedule are as follows: 6:00 in Bicol Dialect, 12.15pm in English, 5:30pm in English and 6:30pm in Bicol Bicol Dialect. It hourly Sunday Mass schedules begins at 6:00 am until 12.15pm; and resumes at 3pm until 8pm. It is very accesible as it is in the heart of Naga. Even in between mass schedules, people may still come by to pray as it is always open. The church is big and spacious and has huge ceiling fans all over to keep the place well-ventilated. However, the bulk of people who attend services in the parish makes it crowded...

I love this church I have seen some old crucifix. One of the oldest church in Bicol. This is the 4th Church I visited since it was mentioned by the old woman selling candles in the Basilica of Peñafrancia. I had a chit chat with her and we had rice cake from the peddlers. It's really nice to talk to locals despite some language barriers I managed to make her happy...

Naga City is composed of so many churches. And this has been my fave church even in 1990s when I was still in school...and will always be. I just love this church...and is conveniently located near the plaza...but I still find it's solemnity and love the audio ...you won't get distracted even if church may be so full of devotees and...
