As a fan of history and old structures, this arc was enough to fascinate me. Mukhang out of place na dahil sa environment that surrounds it but it is a significant historical piece, nonetheless.

For some, it's just another structure. For history buffs like me, we could only imagine it being a witness to unfolding histories. Contrary to what I read on one of it's reviews (which stated that it was built 1938), it was built pala around 1878, which makes it more interesting. That's more than a century old already! Adding up to the intriguing story behind it, this arc was built pala through forced labor during the Spanish occupation Ibig sabihin, pinagtrabaho ang mga lokal na gawin ang arkong ito ng mga Espanyol pero walang sahod!

Eto pa, aside from its three Roman arches design, gawa pala iyon sa adobe stones, lime and carabao milk! Yes, gatas ng kalabaw. interesting, diba?
