Food was ok, generous portions and interesting take on dishes like Pochero and Ginataang Puso ng Saging. Vibe inside was also nice, it was an old Spanish house.
However, Leche Flan could’ve been smoother. We liked the Pagsanjan Nata de Coco on top though.
It was okay but we had an unfortunate experience with one of the staff regarding parking. Two cars including ours were in the driveway of another restaurant’s parking area. After moving ours, the staff insisted we had to move more - and not the other car. We have no problem moving, but the staff kept insisting only us should move. We left out of frustration because the staff kept looking from the CCTV and didn’t have the full picture of how the driveway looked like. In the end, the owner of the other car moved their car too to resolve the issue.
Whole incident could’ve been avoided if that staff just went outside to check. They were just checking the CCTV. The parking area was just a few steps away. I don’t understand why it was so hard to just go outside and check. I also don’t understand why they could not just ask the other car owner too to move their car, they were also customers like us.
Unfortunate experience, could have been a nice lunch as it was our first time to eat...
Read moreI think this place is underrated in Pagsanjan, that explains why it’s the first time we are eating here even if we are always in Pagsanjan. What I love is their many options on vegetable dishes, we eat more veggies than meat so it makes me so happy to see their menu has a lot of vegetables compared to other places in Pagsanjan. We started with the Molo soup, yum! Lots of garlic flavour that we love. The fresh lumpia is also good… but the winner is the chicken bbq!! This rivals the ever classic Aristocrat chicken bbq… theirs is so tender and flavourful, char-grilled to perfection. Make sure to order this when you go here, or you will regret it. For dessert, I tried their halo-halo, I also liked it (but my most favourite is Lolo Tuge by the river). Would recommend this place when passing...
Read moreIf you're ever in Pagsanjan, this place is a must try! We ordered a meal platter with grilled tuna/pork/chicken and steamed shrimps/veggies which came with a delicious guisadong ampalaya. We also had pancit, pochero, and bulalo—all of which taste good. My personal favorite was the Pagsanjan pochero, which had a unique twist that made it stand out. The flavors were rich and comforting, a real highlight of the meal.
All of this was a steal for just over ₱3,300 for 13 people—definitely a sulit meal that left everyone satisfied and full! Highly recommend for those looking to explore local flavors...
