Texas Roadhouse in Arcovia, Pasig City
Nestled in the bustling Arcovia City, Texas Roadhouse immerses diners in an authentic Texan atmosphere with its rustic decor and lively Western vibes. Stepping inside, the restaurant impresses with its themed interiors and country music playing in the background, setting the stage for a hearty Texan dining experience.
The menu at Texas Roadhouse is expansive, offering a wide variety of dishes that promise a taste of Texas cuisine. Eager to indulge, I opted for their acclaimed Rib Eye Steak, a decision that unfortunately left much to be desired. Despite ordering it medium rare, the steak was marred by an excessive amount of ligaments, making it unexpectedly tough and difficult to enjoy. Moreover, the preparation fell short as the steak was not cooked to perfection, lacking the desired tenderness and flavor. Adding to the disappointment, there was no steak sauce offered, which further detracted from the dining experience.
To make matters worse, the ribs, another prominent item on their menu, were disappointingly dry and failed to live up to their reputation. These shortcomings were compounded by the persistent attempt to sell their discount card, as I was asked to purchase it on three separate occasions during my meal—a practice that felt overly pushy and detracted from the overall dining experience.
Amidst these disappointments, however, there were a few redeeming qualities. The freshly baked bread, accompanied by a delectable cinnamon butter, stood out as a delicious starter that hinted at the kitchen's potential. Additionally, the Steak Quesadillas offered a pleasant surprise with their flavorful combination of tender steak and melted cheese.
Despite the shortcomings in the food and the persistent sales tactics, Texas Roadhouse in Arcovia does have its merits. The ambiance is inviting, with friendly staff adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Moving forward, I would cautiously explore other items on the menu, avoiding the steaks and ribs, in hopes of discovering more satisfying options.
In conclusion, while Texas Roadhouse presents itself as a promising dining destination with its Texan charm and varied menu, my experience was marred by unsatisfactory food quality and an overly aggressive approach to selling their discount card. For those considering a visit, managing expectations and exploring alternative menu choices may lead to a more enjoyable...
Read moreI'm not sure if it was a Sunday, and Palm Sunday at that, they may have had too many guest for lunch but when we came in for early dinner, (6 PM) the servers were a bit off already, not too attentive and coming off with an attitude. When I asked about their new promo, and other questions, attitude and judgemental looks started. I guess because we are a "sulit" spender, and make sure we get what we pay for, I asked the normal questions regarding food size and proportion. I'm eating with my kid and 2 nieces, and I wanted them to have the same experience I did when I eat in other Texas Roadhouse branch, good food, good service, but tonight it just wasn't there. I understand they are tired, but we can use some nice smiling sincere service from them even if I am eating on a budget. Still bread was great, and usual food served. Just surprised with the side cup of rice is quite too pricey, it's P145.00 per cup. Overall I'm satisfied with the food that we ate, will definitely still eat at Texas and Bistro Group, but might skip Arcovia just because of the team. Still, maybe there's room to improve. Hope management can provide better rest time or schedule for them, if they are too exhausted. So they can still be at 100% when they are serving...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at Texas Roadhouse Arcovia, and it was such a great experience! From the moment we walked in, everything went smoothly… the staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food was amazing. We also got to enjoy their BDO discount, which was a nice bonus!
The steak was perfectly cooked, and the steak rice was so flavorful. We also loved the lemon cucumber and mango drinks — they tasted fresh and natural. The chicken wings and potato skins were delicious too.
One thing that really surprised us was the Yeehaw performance! I thought they only did that for birthdays, but they actually did it for all kinds of celebrations, including anniversaries. It made the night extra special. I’m usually an introvert, and my girlfriend is the extrovert, so it really pushed me out of my shell in the best way.
Most importantly, the place felt very safe and welcoming - a great spot for LGBTQIA+ couples to celebrate special moments. Definitely beyond 5 stars. We’ll be back...
