The Catholic chapel within the UP Diliman campus, it is has a unique dome-shape open air design, with the crucifix and altar at the center. During my four year stay as a UP student, i would usually attend mass several times a week - place itself is very serene with lush gardens surrounding the chapel.. we would attend our org's general meetings in the adjacent Delaney Hall... The chapel is considered an artistic and cultural heritage piece as it was designed by Leandro Locsin, national artist for architecture. The sculture of the crucified Christ is by Napoleon Abueva, national artist for scupture. And the murals of the stations of the cross were painted by Manansala, national artist for painting... Read more"Parish of the Holy Sacrifice" is the lone Catholic Church inside the UP Diliman compound. The prayer mass structure is circular, where the altar and the priest's table is stationed in a central point of circle instead of a traditional altar near the wall.
There were canonised or beatified parish priests seen in the tarpaulin located along the alley from the exit of the church, mostly local and provincial priests and saints. They were many, so I could not upload them all...
