Located along the road going to Pulang Bato Falls lies one of the, if not the most iconic tourist spot in Valencia. Seeing it on photos or videos is nothing compared to seeing it in real life. One of the best place to visit in Negros Oriental - the Sulfur Vents of Valencia. We were lucky since it was raining (but not that hard) when we visited the Sulfur Vents. Locals say the vapor coming out of the soil intensifies with water. The stronger it rains, the thicker the vapor. When we visited, it was like a volcano about to erupt.

Great place to see thermal steaming from the ground! Large area with sulfur vapors and bubbling water. Steam venting from pipes also to try to reduce erosion. The ground is very hot but you can touch most places. Caution around the rivers edge as there has been several landslides from this hillside into the river. Must stop for photos here!!

A good experience for negros occidental mountain tour. It lies in valencia, 30mins away from Dumaguete City via motorcycle. Nature's wonder at its finest. Expect a not so good small, sulfur is really evident. This resulting pulang bato waterfalls rock colors. Pulang bato waterfalls is just about 5-10mins from here.

Very cool roadside spot to experience a 'different' side of nature. No need to walk anywhere - the ugly, smokey hillside comes right to the edge of the road. Love the signs that say "Warning: toxic gasses". Great photos & smells... lol. Be sure to stop for a few minutes on the way to Red Rock hot springs and...
