Promenada Westerplatte — Attraction in Gdansk

I enjoyed a lovely walk next to the beach. You can enjoy some stunning sunsets here.

Just to let you know, it's not actually allowed to go to the beach there. There are written warnings every few metres or so.

I'm not sure I understand why. Perhaps there are those sneaky waves like at Reynisfjara beach in Iceland? The sea looked pretty calm when we were there. Lots of people didn't seem to be aware of the sign and were just sitting, bathing, walking and lying on the beach.
