Park Zadole w Katowicach — Attraction in Katowice

A good place for walking and relaxing. The park has very fresh and pleasant air. There are many benches to rest on, but they are in poor condition. The park has a lot of entertainment for children, such as: a fairly large playground, swings, drawing boards, wooden posts with the names of animals that live in the park, and types of trees, which is very cool and interesting and only for children. There are also entertainments for adults: swings, a glass bookcase, and on the playground there were exercise equipment for adults. Also a great place for jogging and walking with animals. Near the park there is a beautiful arch where ducks swim. The park also has a stage. From the fact that the guys were assembling equipment, I realized that concerts and performances were taking place here. A very big plus is that there were many toilets in the park, as well as a washbasin with liquid soap to wash your hands. There were trash cans...

Very nice and big park with lots of different trees and alleys to walk along. It's also a great place for bike riding. There are a few playgrounds for kids. Also, there is quite an interesting and cosy place to spend the time in a calm atmosphere with a health-care area, called Tężnia solankowa. You also can visit some cafe there, and buy some tasty organic ice-cream and deserts in the stall...

Bardzo interesujące miejsce, na mapie Katowic, w dzielnicy Piotrowice. Od 8 kwietnia 2019 jest tu wybudowana Solankowa Tężnia, generująca bardzo dobry mikroklimat dla osób potrzebujących wdychania powietrza z jodem. Jest to pierwszy taki obiekt w mieście i jeden z największych w regionie. Przy okazji budowy tężni pięknie urządzono teren wokół, dzięki temu powstało tu doskonałe miejsce na spacer, zwłaszcza z dziećmi, bo jest tu też mały (obok tężni) i duży w dalszej odległości plac zabaw. Tężnia znajduje się w doskonałym miejscu, bo w środku parku, pośród drzew i zieleni. Jest też imponujących rozmiarów: ma 6,9 metra wysokości, 37,5 metrów długości i 11,5 m szerokości i jest jednym z największych tego typu obiektów w regionie. Pod drewnianą konstrukcją - wykonaną z drzewa modrzewiowego - znajduje się prawie 7-metrowa ściana z gałązek tarniny, po której będzie spływała solanka (w zbiorniku pod konstrukcją zmieści się jej aż 40 metrów sześciennych.).
