This is a very large park that also has a natural amphitheater lawn area where they hold events and concerts. We went on a regular day during the week while they were setting up for concerts for the season. There are many dogs and a lot of them are off leash which is not allowed, so be prepared for that. There are some shaded areas some picnic tables as well as some facilities that the public utilizes regularly. It's a very nice park and green space well worth the visit.
