Localizzato nella punta a Ovest dell'isola di San Miguel, non é il più bel faro delle Azzorre: ad esempio il faro di Goncalo Velho a Santa Maria sicuramente ha una posizione da cartolina, si staglia a picco in mezzo all'oceano. Ma la cosa che rende unico questo farò é che si può visitare all'interno, come una fiaba che si realizza per me. Il guardiano del faro (proprio lui, taciturno, ma gentile!) vi permetterà l'ingresso SOLO e SOLTANTO negli orari specificati da apposito cartello: 14,00-14,30-15,00-15,30-16,00-16,30-17,00 SOLO IL MERCOLEDÌ. Quindi ogni mezz'ora, per cui se arrivate tra un orario di ingresso e l'altro dovrete attendere comunque l'ora precisa di entrata scaglionata. All'interno é tutto bellissimo e affascinante, come una fiaba appunto, e potete salire scortati fino alla lampada principale situata alla sommità del faro: che possa illuminarci per sempre nell'infinito nero che...
