Nice place with plenty of parking and a view of the sea. The lighthouse is closed so don't expect to go in. The environment itself is not very pleasant and it is very dirty there.

Por iniciativa da Junta Autónoma dos Portos de Ponta Delgada, o Farol de Santa Clara foi inaugurado a 15 de junho de 1945, devido à necessidade de implementar um farol em terra após o derrube do existente no molho do porto de Ponta Delgada em 1942. É um farol histórico, uma vez que, desde os finais do século XIX, até aos primórdios da década de 1940, esteve instalado na Torre de Belém, em Lisboa. De estruturação metálica, a sua lanterna apresenta uma fisionomia semelhante à das guaritas manuelinas.

Или вечером - посмотреть на маяк и океан в закатных цветах, городские огни и гигантские волнорезы. А ещё рядом находится отличная стильная пиццерия Forneria São Dinis, непременно загляните сюда! У маяка есть большая парковка.
