We had a wonderful time during the cork trekking in Redondo! We started the tour with our guide Celino in a Jeep in the center of Redondo. He told us about the history of the village and his specialties. Then we arrived at the most beautiful domaine with vinyards, cork trees, animals, … Celino, who spoke fluently English, learned us all about the farm life, the cork trees, the animals, the ecosystem and the history of the land. His passion was contagious and our family (adults and children) had the best time. We even listened to funny anecdotes. Read moreWe loved every second of it! It was the most amazing cork farm tour. We already know quite a bit about cork bark so being able to see the trees in person was an incredible feeling. Chantal is the best guide you could ever ask for! Very friendly and knowledgeable. A+++ We asked her so many questions and she was able to answer every single one of them and more. We learned a ton being in this tour. The cork bark farm is not too far from Lisbon. If you have a chance, stay in Evora for a couple of nights. Another fun place to explore. Don't miss learning about this incredible cork material that Portugal produces. I highly recommend...
Read moreAbsolutely stellar tour! This was one of the things we were most looking forward to on our trip, and it was better than we imagined. Celino gave us the most thoughtful, educated, and FUN tour of the property (vineyards, cork forest, cattle). We loved the wine tasting at their facility, complete with some tastes of local bread, jams, nuts, and Iberian black pork prosciutto, and cheese. The traditional lunch was beyond impressive at Restaurante Os Arcos. We really appreciated the time that both Celino and Margarida shared with us, and how the made the visit so personalized and worthwhile. We can't recommend...
