I covered this trail on a mountain bike. It's at moderate difficulty and some parts you will have to dismount, at times carrying your bike on your shoulder. I decided to come off the trail and into a dirt track wide enough for off road vehicles. The whole experience was extremely satisfying, getting lost in nature, hearing mostly nature sounds, of cascades and water streams, breathing and smelling a wide range of nature produced scents, coming across many chestnut trees with plenty of chestnuts spread all over the trail, it was also very mild temperature in the beginning of November. I'd certainly return. Bear in mind that if one chooses to continue on the trail rather then diverting into the dirt road, there is a steep hike, and most of the climb would only be manageable by carrying or pushing your bicycle. The way down at the end is breath taking too. Not suitable for bikes without disc brakes. If bikes with v-brakes are used, there is a relatively strong possibility that your tyres might melt...
