Before embarking on our PR 17 hike a couple of days ago, we indulged in a delightful Espresso coffee that set the perfect tone for the day. Post-hike, we returned to the charming Snack Bar Restaurante Boca Da Encumeada for a culinary treat. The Espetada was cooked to perfection, complemented by scrumptious salted and sautéed potatoes, and the traditional Bolo do Caco, generously spread with butter and garlic.
On our road trip today coming from north along the scenic ER228 was a feast for the eyes, leading us to a lunch stop where we savored a ‘Small’ chicken dish that was nothing short of supertasty. I went again and had a great coffee. It is challenging to ask for coffee in Madeira because there are so many types. I personally like the Carioca da Cafe in a big cup and bring my own plant base milk.
