Highly recommend this indoor daily (except Sunday) market for fresh produce of all kinds. Absolutely great selection. Go daily and pick up inspiration and ingredients for that night’s dinner. The market is a short walk 🚶♂️ from Tavira train 🚆 station. There are cafes outside and public toilets 🚻 too. There is a good selection of fresh vegetables and seafood and butchers too. It's a real pity that some sellers take advantage of tourists and inflate the price too too much, especially the spice store at the NW entrance. I expected, at least, more honesty there. Well, no more tears, got to learn somehow but, I'm never gonna buy there again.
